Games are always white team(AWAY) vs a black team(HOME); therefore, you need to have a both options available with you. Verify the website for your team color each week.
Although not mandatory, we suggest the use of helmets, gloves, shin pads, protective cup, mouth guard and a shield/visor for your own safety.
Any regular hockey stick allowed. Plastic sticks not allowed.

Any player who receives 3 penalties in one game is ejected from the game (high sticking* does not count for ejections unless your stick hits another player).
ABSOLUTELY ZERO TOLERANCE ON FIGHTING! MOST CASES WILL RESULT IN EXPULSION FOR THE SEASON.
All calls are at the referee’s discretion and are final. Any abuse of officials will result in ejection from the game(We do our best, just be respectful)
If the referee deems that teams are wasting time during a line change (i.e.: substitutions) he can drop the ball on a face-off even though the team is not ready or issue a delay of game penalty if excessive.
Any dive/slide that may not interfere with a player but is deemed dangerous by the referee is also a penalty.
Swinging a stick recklessly.
*If the blade of your stick goes above your waist(follow through of shot applies) a penalty will be given for high sticking.
DOUBLE MINOR(4mins) Any high stick that makes contact with another player above the shoulders
DOUBLE MINOR(4mins) Any Head Contact
Stepping on the ball or purposely shooting the ball out of play will result in delay of game penalty
If a goal is scored with a high stick (Follow through) the goal will be disallowed and they will be assessed a 2min penalty.

Teams will be given a 5 minute warm-up period
Each team has one 30 second timeout per game.
The game becomes "stop time" in final 2mins when game is within 2 goals. ONLY STOP TIME if ball is out of play, a penalty is assessed, timeout, injury or a goal that keeps score within two. If game is tied, it is running time except during playoffs.
The referee and scorekeeper have the authority to stop the time clock if they deem it necessary.
The games will consist of 3 x 14-minutes periods.
Teams must have 1 female on the floor at all times.(Goalie doesn't apply)
All players must be 16 yrs old before Sept 8th 2026.
If a game finishes in a tie, we will have a 3 player shootout(one female must shoot). Playoffs will consist of 5min 4on4, 5min 3on3, if still tied we will go to a sudden death shootout.
All communication with the referee is to be done by captains only.
If you are bleeding, you must get off the floor.
If point standings are tied after the regular season, we will rank in this order:

During regular season Spare players must be FAIR. (Don't sub a beginner with an advanced player) Ref/Organizers can deny a sub if deemed unfair and the team will play short 1 player.
Playoffs will be your roster players ONLY, *Goalies is the exception*.
Teams can use players that are not on the spare list(Regular Season ONLY) if no other players are available. Need to be approved by the commissioners.
